Home to fast and stylish motor yachts as well as luxurious super yachts up to 30m, Marina Botafoch brings together amazing restaurants, an array of small, luxury boutiques and nautical supply businesses. Whether you want to buy stylish new swimwear or need navigation equipment for your yacht, this marina is equipped to serve everybody’s needs.
Marina Botafoch is designed with a number system, starting with a line of tenders and water taxis adjacent to the shipyard. These smaller vessels start at mooring number 001, with the moorings stretching all the way up towards the main car park. The motor yachts up to 20m are found in the 600s. The larger, more luxurious motor super yachts are moored in the 700s by the outer port wall, offering an unparalleled view from the yacht’s aft or Flybridge over to the old town of Ibiza with Dalt Villa dominating the city scenery.
For yachts up to 30m Marina Botafoch offers more privacy to charter guests or yacht owners; the biggest yachts have their mooring in a very privileged spot. The outer port wall can only be reached after a drive right around the marina and is therefore not very popular with curious passers-by and tourists.
Fortunately, Marina Botafoch offers an amazing choice of restaurants both during day and night. Café Mama is one of the best meeting points. Its location close to the main entry offers the opportunity to start a yachting experience with a delicious brunch on the sun-filled terrace enjoying the view over the yachts.
La Trattoria del Mar was opened in 2007 by the d’Ambrosio brothers. It offers privileged views over the first line of yachts and Dalt Villa, accompanied by a tempting menu of homemade pasta and seafood specialities with an extensive cellar of Spanish and Italian wines.
IT-Ibiza is one of the newest additions to the array of restaurant options Marina Botafoch offers. The Michelin star chef, Gennario Esposito, offers the very best Mediterranean cuisine, inspired by the flavours of southern Italy.
Following the directions to PORT Ibiza you come to a roundabout with a large hand and Podenco dogs sculptures in its centre. Take the exit to Paseo Juan Carlos, the road adjacent to the sea. Marina Botafoch is the second (and last) marina on the strip. Follow Paseo Juan Carlos until you reach a second roundabout. The first exit of this roundabout (Sushipoint entrance) is the first access point for Marina Botafoch. The second exit from the roundabout is the second entrance to the marina (known as the Café Sidney entrance).
Should your yacht be moored in the ‘700s’ (berth numbers from 701-799), take the Sushipoint entrance and follow the road after the entrance to the right until you reach a car park at the end of the road. Continue on around the marina, leaving the car park and shipyard behind, driving to the outer port wall. The berths are sequential, with 701 just after the shipyard.
Parking spots are available inside the marina, and free parking is available on the main road.
