Driving through the double at Golf Ibiza

Being Ibiza's only golf club, and having been taken under new management in 2017, Golf Club Ibiza has a unique and exclusive feel to it. Located near Roca Llisa, the club stretches across luscious green space, with two very different golf courses. An 18-hole, par 72 course is spectacular but challenging; designed specifically for avid golfers with the knowhow, experience and skill to negotiate its water hazards and carefully-designed bunkers. The other, 'Roca Llisa' 9-hole course is more accessible for the amateur golfer and offers a more relaxing atmosphere; allowing players the time to soak up the stunning scenery of the impeccably-maintained course.

Open all year round, the club welcomes guest players every day. The course design suits the heat of Ibiza, with the 9-hole course easily completed within a short time-frame. This makes the club ideal for those with limited amounts of time, and those wanting to play in high summer. The 18-hole course has a recommended 4.5 hour time allowance. Really avid golfers can easily achieve the golf club ‘double’ and take on both courses in succession.

The driving range and putting green which lay alongside the courses are equally delightful and prove to be the perfect warm-up to each round. Visiting players without their own clubs can hire whatever golfing equipment they need, and there’s a well-stocked pro shop in the clubhouse for impulse purchases. Cart and buggy hire are also available.
